Day 5
- RBL took on Swiss side FC St. Gallen at La Manga Club Top Ground on the final day of the training camp. In a hard-fought friendly, RB Leipzig ran out deserved 1-0 winners against the team sitting second in the Swiss Super League.

Day 4
- Just like in previous days, RBL began training at 11:00 CET on the pitch in La Manga. Today's morning session started with a short warm-up before becoming more concentrated on tactics. Day 3
- The third day of the training camp began in bright sunshine. Today's plan was similar to yesterday's: the morning session in La Manga started intensively, while the afternoon was more tactical.
After a short warm-up, RBL took part in various games to improve their decision-making. A volley challenge followed which was played as a game of 'old-vs-young', with the 'older' generation winning. Timo Werner struck the decider in some style.
The lads then had only a short time to relax before the next training session began. The focus was particularly on wing play in the afternoon session.
New signing Eljif Elmas told us between the sessions how he's found the first few days at RB Leipzig and what his aims are at the club.
Team news
- Castello Jr. has recovered from back problems and returned to full team training.
- Kevin Kampl and Mo Simakan missed today's sessions again due to illness.

Day 2
- On Wednesday, RBL took part in two training sessions, which were a clear contrast to each other in terms of workload.
The two hours in the morning were characterised by high intensity. The main focus was on running in behind and decision-making under pressure in 11 vs. 11 games.
After a short lunch, Marco Rose brought his players out onto the pitch once again. After the demanding morning session, the second part of the day featured recovery exercises and controlled passing.
In between the sessions, we spoke to Yussuf Poulsen about the new hierarchy in the team and about the second half of the season.
